11-4-2014 Florida: Ocala, Florida — A convicted child molester, being transported to prison, was attacked by other inmates on the transport van on November 3, 2014. Ocala Police Officers responded to the scene. Edward Rogalski, 58, is a Florida Corrections inmate, and was being transported by U.S. Corrections employees to the Charlotte Correction Institute in a white van with 11 other inmates. (AP) – California is breaking the law by failing to include updates about sex offenders on its Megan’s Law website, leading some offenders to be targeted by vigilantes, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday. The suit filed by two offenders says the California Department of Justice has not updated the sex offender registry to include the dates offenders were convicted and released from prison. Tracy Lynn Bossie is charged with one count of assault with a weapon, a felony, for allegedly stabbing Wallace Bossie Jr. on Saturday.
